Benefits to doing the programme are as follows:
Based on electronic assessment ie paperless portfolio - this leads
to faster and greater achievement. We have examples of learners
staying on the programme because of the electronic assessment, who
were otherwise thinking of leaving. Unit accreditation for early
leavers - meaning they can take their qualification with them to
a new employer to continue. Learners making 20-40% progress to completion
of their framework in 3 months.
Sales NVQ recognises the selling skills already possessed by the
individual and plugs gaps/develops areas where there are skills
shortages. This leads to greater successful sales activity of the
individual and ultimately the business.
The main areas covered are:
improving sales performance
developing and maintaining positive working relationships with
customers
selling products and services to customers face to face
maintaining effective customer service.
There are then 10 optional units of which 2 are to be selected.
These two optional units are carefully chosen with the guidance
of the assessor to ensure the Sales programme is bespoke to the
requirements of the learners and the learner's organisation.
